As a user experience researcher and strategist, I connect with people, share their stories, and design innovative solutions to meet their needs. I am a values-driven design leader who brings compassion, honesty, and clarity to every project.
My big question:
How might design1 empower people2 to learn together3 and make4 a better tomorrow5?
as a facilitation method for multidisciplinary collaboration and alignment
“pissed-off optimists” from communities, nonprofits, academia, government, and industry both locally and internationally
leveraging concepts from knowledge ecosystems and storytelling
through outcomes-driven experimentation and play that make ideas tangible
positively impact and evolve systems

My perspective
As a designer and strategist, I care about understanding more – about people, places, history, stories, business, and moments – to find opportunities to make thoughtful, beautiful experiences.
One of my favorite things that I have learned is the idea of being "a pissed-off optimist." It's okay to balance the tension between a gloomy current-state and the bright confidence that we can make tomorrow better.
With experience in social-issue documentary film and corporations, I believe that design's unique superpower is its ability to build community and momentum around an idea. Design encourages collaboration and empathy-driven opportunity finding. With this mix, ideas thrive and can be made real.
So, yes, let's make tomorrow better.
